Because I am a BACP-accredited therapist currently completing a specialist sex-therapy qualification, I am able to offer reduced-fee psychosexual therapy (from £30 per session). Spaces are available on a sliding scale based on what is affordable for you.
Sex and intimacy can be hard to talk about, awkward to bring up, and easy to put off. I'm a BACP-accredited therapist now training as a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist (COSRT student member), and I offer a confidential, professional space to talk about what's going on in your body, your desire, or a relationship.
Does any of this sound familiar?
People seek psychosexual therapy things like:
- Trouble getting or keeping an erection
- Climaxing sooner than you'd like
- Finding it hard to climax, or it taking a long time
- Wanting sex less than you used to, or less than a partner does
- Pain during sex, or difficulty with penetration
- Difficulty reaching orgasm
- Worry, pressure, or anxiety around sex
- Feeling distant from a partner and wanting to feel close again
Some of these can have physical as well as emotional causes, so it's always worth having them checked by your doctor too. Talking therapy works well alongside medical care, never instead of it.
What this therapy actually involves
Psychosexual therapy is talking therapy focused on sex, intimacy, and relationships. Alongside the talking, you'll come to understand how desire, arousal, and the body work, and usually be given gentle exercises to try in your own time, between sessions.
Sessions themselves are entirely conversation. Nothing physical happens, and nothing explicit is asked of you. Anything practical is something you choose to try privately, at your own pace, and then we talk through how it went.
Often what feels like "a problem with sex" is tangled up with stress, history, confidence, or how things are with a partner — so psychosexual therapy works on understanding and on practical steps that might help things shift.
How it works
A free 15-minute chat
To see whether I'm the right person to help — no pressure either way.
A first assessment session
We talk through what's going on and what you'd like to be different.
Ongoing appointments
50-minute sessions online — weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. Usually around 8 to 12 sessions, with reading and gentle exercises to try between our meetings.
This is currently one-to-one work for individuals. Help for couples and partners opens next year — let me know when you get in touch and I'll be in touch when it does.
Availability: I offer sessions on weekday daytimes only — I don't currently work evenings or weekends, so it's worth checking that could fit around your week.
Choosing what you pay
I'm happy to offer these sessions based on what if affordable for you. When expressing your interest, and during our initial chat, I'll ask you how much you can afford.
Doing well
You're financially comfortable and you can cover life's extras without it being a stretch. Paying the full rate is what keeps the lower ones open for others.
Getting by
Money takes thought. You can cover the essentials and a little more, but there's not a lot spare.
Feeling squeezed
Paying more would mean real strain on the basics — rent, food, or getting around.
About me
I'm a BACP-accredited therapist and supervisor and an Advanced Accredited Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversities Therapist (AAGSRDT) with Pink Therapy. I'm now also a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist in training (COSRT student member no. 5179), completing a two-year sex and relationship therapy course with the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology. I work online with people across Europe.
This means I'm an experienced therapist adding a specialist sex-therapy qualification — so you get clinical experience, with the option of paying a reduced fee, while I complete this specialised training under full supervision.
I work with people of all genders, orientations, and relationship styles. My approach is warm and down-to-earth: I think difficult feelings usually make sense once you understand where they come from, and good therapy helps you live more like yourself, not fit you to a template.
What you can expect
- Private and professional. Sessions are confidential and held to BACP and COSRT ethical standards.
- Fully supervised. This work is supported by regular clinical supervision with a COSRT registered supervisor.
- No judgement. No assumptions about you, your body, your relationships, or what you want.
- Not medical treatment but talk therapy. This isn't a medical service. That means that I don't diagnose or treat physical conditions, and it works alongside your doctor's care rather than replacing it.
- No touch, no nudity I never carry out anything physical and never ask you to undress or perform.
Questions people often ask
Do I need a partner? No, these sessions are for indiviudals. My space for couples and partners opens up next year.
Is anything physical involved? Our sessions are entirely talking. Some of the exercises I suggest are practical, but they're things you do privately at home, in your own time and at your own pace.
Will I get "homework"? Yes, usually. Psychosexual therapy works best when it's active: understanding how things work, and small, manageable exercises to try between sessions. Nothing is compulsory.
Why are the fees reduced? I'm an experienced, accredited therapist completing a specialist sex-therapy qualification under full supervision. The reduced fees help me to work with more people during this training.
