Below are some emergency mental health resources and services available, specifically in the UK and France, that are ready to help you if you are experiencing a crisis.

I do not provide an emergency counselling service. This means that if you are experiencing a crisis (a sense that you may be of risk of harm to yourself or someone else and need urgent help), you should seek immediate support.

UK Emergency Mental Health Services

  • Go to any Accident & Emergency (A&E) department
  • Call 999 and ask for an ambulance to take you to A&E
  • Ask someone to call 999 for you
  • Ask someone to take you to A&E
  • Call Samaritans on 116 123
  • Request an urgent appointment with your GP
  • Contact your local crisis team if you are being provided care by a crisis team
