Niche and Networks: Rebuilding From Zero

A therapist's move from the UK to France, finding a workable niche, and rebuilding referral networks.

Date: Wednesday, 11 November 2026 Time: 09:00 – 10:00 Paris time (08:00 – 09:00 UK time) Location: Online via Zoom Fee: Free (€0)

Session Description

When I relocated from the UK to rural France, I lost the two things most practices are built on: an established referral network and local visibility. This session shares how I rebuilt both from scratch, finding a niche that connects rather than restricts, and turning professional relationships into real infrastructure, including what worked and what didn't. Practical, honest, and grounded in a real relocation and rebrand.

Participant Takeaways

  • A practical positioning-statement exercise to clarify your own niche
  • A clearer view of how to turn professional relationships into a network that actually sustains a practice
  • Practical insights especially useful for anyone considering relocation, rebrand, or repositioning
